Wail Sarouyenne Fallaoui has been found guilty of the murder of Seghir Issaad by the Brussels assize jury, according to lalibre.be. The victim, aged 29 at the time of the incident, was killed during the night of 20 to 21 June 2023 in Peterbos park in Anderlecht. He left behind a child who was only eighteen months old at the time.
The jurors answered affirmatively to the first question submitted by the court, thereby upholding the murder charge. Under the new Belgian penal code, this offence is punished with a level 7 sentence, corresponding to a prison sentence range of between more than 20 and 30 years.
