Four youths arrested following urban rodeo in Marche-en-Famenne
In the early hours of Monday morning, following the broadcast of the Belgium-Iran match, a group of four teenagers was intercepted by law enforcement in Marche-en-Famenne. The young people, aged 18 and 19, had performed skids and sudden acceleration with their car outside an O'Tacos restaurant situated near the large screen where the match was being projected.
This behaviour disturbed the calm of the late evening. Police officers intervened to put an end to these actions. The Luxembourg public prosecutor's office clarified that the four occupants of the vehicle were arrested at the scene.
Following their arrest, the youths were released. The matter is now being followed by the judiciary. This type of behaviour, often described as an urban rodeo, consists of driving dangerously and performing stunts with a motorised vehicle in public spaces.
