At around 4:20 am on the night of Friday to Saturday, a passer-by was set upon by two individuals in the car park of Basilix shopping centre, in the Brussels municipality of Berchem-Sainte-Agathe. This was communicated by the Brussels-West police zone, which covers Molenbeek-Saint-Jean, Koekelberg, Jette, Ganshoren and Berchem-Sainte-Agathe, in an article published by DHnet.
According to the initial elements of the investigation, the victim of the attack did not accept the confrontation without putting up resistance. A brawl then broke out between the three protagonists. At the end of this altercation, the passer-by was struck by two blades: one caught him on the upper limb, the other on the lower limb.
Medical emergency services quickly took charge of the wounded man and transported him to a hospital. The doctors were able to rule out any life-threatening risk, with the man being out of danger.
The prosecutors of the Brussels public prosecutor's office were notified of this matter. Investigators are now working to locate the two fugitives, who have not yet been found.
