The celebratory evening turned into a scene of chaos on Saturday on the forecourt of Aumale station in the municipality of Anderlecht. A musical gathering organised by a collective was disrupted by acts of violence committed by a participant.

The perpetrator, who had consumed alcohol and illicit substances, suddenly lost all control. He began assaulting the people around him. Witnesses indicated that security equipment was thrown. The mayor of the municipality, Fabrice Cumps, reported that the suspect used a fire extinguisher to strike people around him.

Four people were affected by these actions. One of them received a blow to the head. Medical authorities confirmed that none of the victims were at risk of losing their lives.

Police officers arrived quickly and arrested the troublemaker. By early morning the following day, he remained in provisional detention. The public prosecutor's office was seized of the matter. Officers heard from people present at the scene.

Video surveillance systems recorded the entire incident, which should allow the exact circumstances of the events to be clarified.
