In Hasselt, six minors have been arrested for planning an attack on their school. The threats were made in a group on TikTok.
The police of the Limburg Regio Hoofdstad zone detained the six suspects in early June. The young people are reported to have made threats of violence against the school building and staff on the social network.
The six suspects, all pupils of the school in question, were brought before youth judges in Hasselt and Tongeren. The case is now being further handled by the youth court.
