Brazilian citizen detained in Yapacaní for arms trafficking with 180 days preventive imprisonment
A man of Brazilian nationality was apprehended in the Oriental neighbourhood of Yapacaní following a police raid. He was detained for 180 days in Palmasola prison for arms trafficking.

A Brazilian citizen identified as Leandro Correa de Freitas was apprehended during a police operation in the Oriental neighbourhood of the municipality of Yapacaní, in the north of the department of Santa Cruz, according to El Deber.
The raid, carried out by the Special Force for Crime Combat (Felcc), resulted in the capture of the foreigner and the seizure of a 9-millimetre weapon with a 10-round magazine. Correa de Freitas resisted during the personal search.
The director of the Felcc, colonel Jhonny Coca, explained that analysis of the detainee's mobile telephone revealed the magnitude of the case: "It was possible to establish that this person not only had that weapon in his possession, but following an analysis of the electronic device, it was possible to establish that he had other firearms and that he was engaged in selling them."
Investigations determined that the subject operated as an illegal firearms dealer in the area. Following his apprehension, he was referred to the Public Ministry, which requested precautionary measures.
The court ordered the preventive detention of Leandro Correa de Freitas for 180 days in Palmasola prison, under the charge of arms trafficking.
