Criminals steal 65,000 bolivianos from woman in Yacuiba after robbing her at home
A group of robbers stripped a woman of 65,000 bolivianos in the Petrolero neighbourhood of Yacuiba, money she had just received as a loan. A driver who assisted in the getaway was detained, while the others fled towards Argentine territory across an unauthorised border crossing.

A Yacuiba resident lost 65,000 bolivianos to robbers who waited for her at her home in the Petrolero neighbourhood. The sum had been obtained as a loan just hours before the attack, according to El Deber.
The incident took place in the early morning of 9 June. The victim withdrew the money during the night and, upon returning home, two individuals surprised her as she was entering the property, taking advantage of the garage being left open. They snatched the rucksack in which she was carrying the cash.
After the robbery, the victim's relatives tried to catch up with the thieves, who managed to escape by abandoning a motorcycle on Daniel Campos street. Colonel Ever Cossío, head of the local Felcc, explained that the relatives retained the vehicle.
The driver who transported some of the criminals was detained. The man stated that they had hired him for a ride and had asked him to drop them off in Valle Núñez, an area close to the border with Argentina.
Surveillance cameras recorded the flight of at least four people who crossed into the neighbouring country through an unauthorised crossing. Investigators are working to identify them.
The case resulted in no injuries. The detainee was handed over to the judicial authorities.
