Owner of car stolen by hitmen declares to Diprove following double murder in Valle Sánchez

Brazilian victims and stolen vehicle: the owner speaks to police

The owner of the car used by the hitmen to flee after murdering two Brazilian citizens in Valle Sánchez, municipality of Warnes, declared this Wednesday before the Vehicle Theft Prevention Directorate (Diprove), according to El Deber. Simultaneously, personnel from the Department of Criminal Analysis and Intelligence (DACI) travelled to the site of the double murder to collect images from security cameras.

The woman recounted that she and her husband provided Diprove with details of what occurred on Tuesday morning when the hitmen fled in their vehicle. "It still has not been found and we continue awaiting reports from the police," declared the affected woman, who stressed that the car is an essential tool for her work and family transport.

The vehicle owner described the moment when they encountered two hooded and armed men after hearing gunshots. "What I did was get out of the car and ask my husband to get out too so that they would not take us as hostages or to avoid confrontation with them," she recounted. According to her account, her priority was her husband's life: "Let them take whatever they want, but let us leave with our lives."

The fear caused by the attack prevented them from sleeping that night. The woman asked the public to communicate any information about the whereabouts of the vehicle directly to the police, without spreading false alarms.

DACI reviews recordings in the El Valle de Akualand development

Personnel from the DACI travelled to the El Valle de Akualand development in Valle Sánchez to review security camera recordings from businesses near the property where the victims were attacked.

Unofficially, it is known that the alleged perpetrators would also be of Brazilian nationality and wore camouflage clothing during the attack. This information does not yet have official confirmation.

The victims were identified as Wendeles A. E., 29 years old, and Jefferson P. P., 46 years old. Both were attacked with firearms while they were in the front yard of a residence.

Among the hypotheses being considered by police is a suspected settling of scores related to drug trafficking, possibly linked to an alleged drug "flip". Authorities also confirmed the apprehension of a Paraguayan woman who witnessed the crime; her statement contained contradictions, according to the Public Prosecutor's Office.

The investigations continue to determine the circumstances of the double murder, identify those responsible and locate the vehicle used during the escape.
