Ex-partner of Cerimedo testifies in Bolivia in ANDIS corruption case

Bolivian lawyer testifies in corruption case linked to Milei government
Bolivian lawyer Nadia Beller, ex-partner of Argentine political consultant Fernando Cerimedo, appeared as a witness before Argentine justice from Bolivia on Wednesday in connection with the investigation into corruption at the then National Disability Agency (ANDIS), according to acento.com.do.
Beller presented herself at the offices of the Public Prosecutor's office in Santa Cruz and gave evidence by videoconference before Argentine authorities. In addition, she made available the contents of her mobile telephone so that investigators could extract elements relevant to the case.
"What I did was ratify what I had already said to the Argentine press and make available the breakdown of my mobile telephone that is being carried out here in Bolivia so they can extract what is relevant to that case," Beller declared at the conclusion of her testimony.
The investigation examines an alleged scheme of improper payments and irregular contracting at the then ANDIS during Javier Milei's government, as well as the possible participation of officials and businessmen. The body was later dissolved as an independent entity and its functions were transferred to the Argentine Ministry of Health.
The case gained public notoriety from audio recordings attributed to the then ANDIS director, Diego Spagnuolo, in which alleged bribery payments are mentioned. Argentine justice is investigating the content and origin of those recordings.
In September 2025, Cerimedo gave evidence before Argentine justice on this case and provided information related to the recordings.
Cerimedo has been held in Bolivia since 18 August and faces an investigation for alleged attempted femicide against Beller. He is also being investigated for alleged illicit enrichment and for a case of alleged gender-based violence against his ex-partner, for incidents that allegedly occurred in July.
The consultant was part of Milei's communication strategy during the 2023 presidential campaign and founded the La Derecha Diario portal in 2021.
