Equipment stolen from Gastroenterology Institute could affect patients
According to laoctavabo.com, Health Minister Marcela Flores reported on Monday 19 October the theft of equipment from the Gastroenterology Institute of La Paz. The stolen goods include two central processing units (CPUs) and a projector. One of the CPUs contains specialised software essential for the operation of the institute's CT scanner, which could prevent patients who need it from undergoing medical examinations.

Police personnel also took statements from the two security guards who were on duty during the night of the incident.
