Minas Gerais Military Police detained, on Friday (18/9), a man sought for committing homicide in the state of São Paulo, according to metropoles.com. The arrest took place in the rural area of Sabinópolis, a municipality in the Vale do Rio Doce region.
The officers acted after receiving an anonymous tip. The operation's planning took into account the location in a forested area, which would have facilitated a possible escape by the suspect.
The detainee, identified only as J.M.S.S, is also facing charges for attempted murder against his own brother, a crime that occurred in 2017 and resulted in cranial trauma for the victim.
Following the detention, the man was taken to the police station on duty.
