A 62-year-old man was arrested in Itanhaém, on the São Paulo coast, for storing child sexual abuse material. Various electronic devices were seized from his residence.

According to g1.globo.com, a 62-year-old man was arrested on Tuesday (13) in the Oásis neighbourhood in Itanhaém, a municipality on the São Paulo coast, for storing child sexual abuse material.
The suspect came under investigation after agents from the Women's Defence Police Station (DDM) conducted a forensic examination of a mobile phone seized earlier during the investigation. The forensic reports indicated evidence of the man's involvement in the crime, which resulted in the issuing of a temporary arrest warrant.
At the time of detention, police also executed a search and seizure warrant at the property. VHS tapes, digital media, mobile phones, a camera and other electronic equipment were collected from the residence.
The Civil Police stated that all seized material will be sent for technical forensic examination to support the continuation of investigations. The suspect's identity was not disclosed by the authority.
