A man was detained by the Military Police in the early hours of Sunday after stealing jewellery and watches from a jewellery shop at Partage Shopping in Poços de Caldas (MG).

According to jornaldacidade1.com.br, the Military Police arrested a man in flagrante in the early hours of Sunday, the 8th, after the theft of a jewellery shop at Partage Shopping, on Avenida Silvio Monteiro Santos, 180, in Vila Olímpica, in Poços de Caldas (MG).
The suspect was discovered by the establishment's security guard, who monitored the movement of an individual inside the jewellery shop via security cameras. Contacted via 190, the Military Police arrived at the location and heard footsteps in the ceiling of the establishment during the search.
The officers located the man hiding behind an air-conditioning unit in the ceiling, with a rucksack containing a large quantity of jewellery, watches and R$ 152 in cash.
The suspect confessed to having entered the shopping centre before it closed on Saturday, the 7th, and hidden himself in an empty shop. During the early hours of the morning, he accessed the Spoleto restaurant and subsequently the jewellery shop, moving through the ceilings of the shops.
The man received medical attention and was later taken to the Civil Police police station, along with the recovered materials.
