Brazilian influencer Evelyn Lima murdered outside her home days after release from prison

Brazilian influencer Evelyn Lima Dantas, 21, was murdered in the early hours of Wednesday 16 September outside her home in Mãe do Rio, a municipality in the state of Pará in northern Brazil, according to rpp.pe citing local newspaper O Liberal.
The crime occurred just days after Lima was released on provisional liberty. The content creator had been detained on suspicion of providing logistical support in the murder of Antônio Anildo Alves, a retired sergeant of the Military Police, which took place on 29 July in the same municipality. During that investigation she was also charged with alleged drug trafficking.
The Secretariat of State Administration for Prisons in Pará (SEAP) released her between 9 and 12 September, after judges determined that "there were no new sufficient elements to keep her deprived of liberty during proceedings against her", according to O Liberal.
Two men dragged her to the house entrance
According to testimony from Lima's father collected by O Liberal, two men entered the residence and dragged the young woman to the entrance, where they shot her before fleeing in a vehicle. The body was found covered with a sheet. The father was overpowered during the attack.
Military Police arrived at the scene around 3 in the morning, alerted by residents who heard the gunshots. Authorities found Evelyn Lima "without vital signs".
Initials of Terceiro Comando Puro appeared at the scene
The letters "TCP", initials associated with Terceiro Comando Puro, the third largest criminal organisation in Brazil, were found at the crime scene. Diário do Pará reported that this group would be the suspected perpetrator of the attack.
The Police Station in Mãe do Rio of the Civil Police of Pará took over the investigation. According to newspaper A Voz do Xingu, authorities are taking statements and carrying out procedures to "identify those responsible and determine the motive for the murder". The investigation also considers a possible connection with other open cases in the municipality.
Newspaper El Tiempo reported that local police "have not reported arrests directly related to Lima's murder" at the time of publication.
The case generated widespread repercussion in Brazil due to the confluence of elements: the victim's young age, her presence on social media, her recent time in prison, and the criminal signature found at the crime scene.
