Influencer Evelyn Lima Dantas shot dead in Brazil a week after release from prison
Two armed men forcibly removed the 21-year-old from her home in Pará and shot her in front of her father. She had regained her freedom on 9 September.

Two armed men broke into the home of Evelyn Lima Dantas, a 21-year-old content creator, in the São Francisco neighbourhood of Mãe do Rio municipality, Pará state, Brazil, in the early hours of 16 September. According to antena3.com, the attackers arrived in a car, overpowered the young woman's father and forced him to remain on the ground, then dragged her outside where they shot her multiple times.
A neighbour who heard the gunshots alerted emergency services. When agents arrived, they found Lima Dantas's body on the pavement, covered with a sheet.
Released seven days before the murder
The Secretariat for Prison Administration of the State of Pará (Seap) confirmed to portal g1 that the influencer had regained her freedom on 9 September through a release order. At the time of the homicide, she was on provisional release.
Lima Dantas had been detained in July as part of an investigation into the murder of reserve sergeant Antônio Anildo Alves. In an earlier detention, she had also been arrested on suspicion of participating in drug trafficking activities and alleged links to a criminal organisation.
TCP initials found at the scene
At the crime scene, Pará's Civil Police located the initials TCP. Authorities indicate that these letters would be associated with the criminal group Terceiro Comando Puro, although they have not confirmed that the organisation has a direct link to the homicide.
The Civil Police has opened an investigation to clarify the circumstances of the death. Lima Dantas was known on social media for sharing content about travel, fashion, beauty and her daily life.
