Thieves steal weapons from shooting club in Mooca, east São Paulo
Armed criminals broke into a shooting club in the Mooca neighbourhood in the early hours of Wednesday. The Civil Police is investigating the case, registered at the 8th Police District.

The Civil Police is investigating the theft of weapons from a shooting club in the Mooca neighbourhood, east São Paulo, which occurred around 23:00 on Wednesday (9). According to www1.folha.uol.com.br, the person in charge of the establishment was unable to inform police at the time the incident was reported of the exact quantity of items taken.
According to an employee's account to police, the criminals arrived at the location in a car and waited for the moment when one of the people responsible for the club was on the street. One of the robbers approached him wielding a chrome-plated pistol, holding the weapon at hip level. The suspect allegedly said: "stay cool because it's a done deal" — an expression used to indicate that there was inside information about what would be stolen.
The person in charge was then taken into the establishment, where he was struck with the butt of a gun. With his hands tied with plastic cable ties, he was forced to remain kneeling.
Subsequently, two other suspects entered the property. The employee told police he was taken to the safe where the weapons were stored and afterwards taken to the same room where the proprietor was located.
According to the victims, the operation lasted approximately 30 minutes. Throughout the time they remained on the premises, the perpetrators of the robbery wore gloves.
The proprietor and the employee informed police that images from the monitoring system were not yet available for review. The case was registered at the 8th Police District, in Brás.
