FICCO/MG dismantles trafficking network with Bolivian cocaine and movement of R$ 4.5m

The Integrated Force to Combat Organised Crime in Minas Gerais (FICCO/MG) launched, on Wednesday (7/10), Operation Hard-Earned Money against a criminal organisation investigated for transnational drug trafficking and money laundering, as reported by gov.br.

Investigations began following the arrest of one of the suspects in November 2025, in Uberlândia. Subsequent analyses pointed to the existence of a structure focused on the international trafficking of cocaine from Bolivia, with subsequent distribution across Brazilian territory.

During the course of the inquiries, bank statements were located indicating movement of approximately R$ 4.5 million. Vehicles, companies and other assets were identified as part of the group's patrimonial structure.

In Wednesday's operation, four arrest warrants and seven search-and-seizure warrants were executed at addresses in the states of Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso do Sul, Goiás and São Paulo.

The Court ordered the seizure of assets and funds up to the limit of R$ 7.85 million, affecting seven natural persons and three legal persons, in addition to the freezing of vehicles and other patrimonial measures determined judicially.

The suspects may face charges for transnational drug trafficking, association for trafficking, criminal organisation and money laundering, according to each person's participation.

FICCO/MG brings together the Federal Police, the Military, Civil and Penal Police of Minas Gerais, the National Secretariat for Penal Policies and the Federal Road Police.
