As reported by g1.globo.com, a criminal gang invaded a shooting club in the Cambuci neighbourhood, in central São Paulo, in the early hours of Wednesday (9), around 23:00. The criminals took two employees hostage and emptied the establishment's safe, removing all weapons stored on the premises.
The crime began when a club representative was unloading a car outside the establishment and was approached by an armed man. According to the victim's statement, the robber claimed that the location was "fita dada" — an expression indicating that the crime had been commissioned and that the group had information about how the club operated.
The representative was led inside by one of the criminals, where there was another employee. Both were tied up and held as hostages. Two more members of the gang then entered the establishment and demanded that the employee open the safe.
The victim was unable to provide precise information about the number of weapons stolen. The operation lasted approximately half an hour.
The case was registered and is being investigated by police officers from the 8th Police District of Brás.
