Three arrested for drug trafficking in Bragança Paulista within two days
Police seized more than 100 drug portions in two separate incidents over the weekend. A couple also face charges of drug trafficking association.

According to reporting by g1.globo.com, three people were arrested for drug trafficking in Bragança Paulista (SP) over the course of the weekend, in two separate incidents recorded by the Military Police.
On Sunday morning (13), a 21-year-old man was detained following a report made via the 190 emergency telephone number regarding suspicious activity on Rua Plínio Dalara. Officers on patrol travelled to the location and spotted four individuals, who fled upon noticing the police presence. One of them was pursued and apprehended.
With the suspect, officers found 59 packets of cocaine, 18 tubes of cocaine, 18 tubes of crack, 15 portions of cannabis and R$ 527 in cash. Taken to the Civil Police station, the arrest for drug trafficking was ratified by the police authority, and the man was remanded to the justice system.
On the evening of the previous Saturday (12), officers from the Tactical Force of the 34th BPM/I recognised, during patrol, a 23-year-old man who was wanted by the courts for robbery. He was a passenger in a vehicle driven by his girlfriend, aged 33.
Upon receiving an order to stop, the couple did not comply and fled. Officers followed the vehicle and carried out the stop on Avenida Giuseppe Magrini, in the São Lourenço district. In a search of the car, a bag was found containing portions of cocaine and cannabis packaged for sale.
The suspect himself indicated a second location where officers found a backpack containing more portions of cocaine, cannabis divided into packages and a block of cannabis. The arrest of the couple was ratified for the offences of drug trafficking and drug trafficking association. An outstanding arrest warrant for robbery was also executed against the man. Both remained in custody and remanded to the justice system.
