Chase on the A1: 33-year-old stopped in Utzenstorf

As the Bernese Cantonal Police reported on Sunday and derbund.ch reports, a patrol noticed a female motorist on Kirchbergstrasse in Burgdorf shortly after 3 a.m. When the officers were about to conduct a check, the woman accelerated and drove onto motorway A1 in the direction of Bern.

Due to the extremely high speed, the first patrol abandoned the pursuit. A second unit was able to resume the chase later.
