In the night leading into Sunday, at least two robberies and several attempted robberies occurred in Lucerne. Two Swiss nationals aged 17 and 18 were arrested.

According to Google News CH — Crime (de), in the city of Lucerne shortly after 1 a.m. on the night leading into Sunday, at least two completed robberies and several attempted robberies took place. At various locations, members of a group accosted at least four persons and threatened them with a handgun in order to obtain cash.
Following a further report, emergency personnel were able to locate the suspected perpetrators in the area of Frankenstrasse. Upon seeing the police, several persons fled. Two men were apprehended and arrested — a 17-year-old and an 18-year-old, both Swiss nationals. Both are currently in investigative custody. The investigations are being conducted by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Lucerne and the Youth Public Prosecutor's Office.
