Brian Keller, once known as "Carlos" across Switzerland, was involved in another police operation on Wednesday evening. The boxer posted a photo on his Instagram account showing him leaning against a bakery on Löwenstrasse – directly next to Zurich main station – surrounded by several officers and a police vehicle.
Zurich city police confirmed the operation to Blick. Keller was not arrested. The police are currently not commenting on the exact background; investigations have been initiated.
The 30-year-old is facing an ongoing criminal proceeding: since 22 April 2026, he has been under investigation on suspicion of threats and other offences following a corresponding report being filed. According to Blick, Keller is said to have threatened his pregnant ex-girlfriend. At the end of April, the coercive measures court ordered his remand in custody; in May he was released back to liberty.
Keller became known to a wider audience through an SRF documentary from 2013 in which he was portrayed under the pseudonym "Carlos". The film examined his biography, various care facilities and residential institutions, and an expensive reintegration programme. In the years that followed, further criminal proceedings accumulated, including allegations of violence, which repeatedly led to custody or court-ordered measures.
Until the final conclusion of ongoing proceedings, the presumption of innocence applies.
