Shots fired at getaway car following break-in in Pfaffnau – two Romanians arrested
Following a break-in on a company premises in Pfaffnau, police fired on the getaway vehicle. Two Romanian men were arrested.

Shortly after 3 a.m. on Thursday morning, police received reports that several individuals had committed a burglary on a company premises in Pfaffnau. As Google News CH — Crime (de) reported, patrols from the Lucerne Police and the Bernese cantonal police were dispatched.
When the responding officers arrived, the suspects fled in a vehicle. The Lucerne Police fired shots at the car and rendered it inoperable, as stated in a statement.
Several individuals subsequently continued their escape on foot. A police dog apprehended one of the men – he was injured in the process and arrested. A police patrol stopped a second fugitive. The two arrested individuals are Romanian nationals aged 26 and 33 years. Investigations into further, as yet unknown participants are ongoing.
