Sexual assault on 17-year-old in Birr: Aargau cantonal police seek witnesses
In Birr, a 17-year-old woman was sexually assaulted on a cycle path on Thursday evening. The Aargau cantonal police are searching for an unknown moped rider.
Assault on cycle path in Birr: police appeal for witnesses
According to 20 Minuten, on Thursday evening shortly before 21:30 on the cycle path between Birrfeldstrasse and the ABB underpass in Birr, a 17-year-old woman from Poland became the victim of a sexual assault. The girl was on foot when a moped rider came towards her.
A short time later, the young woman was attacked from behind by an unknown male person and knocked to the ground. The attacker suddenly grabbed under her clothing. She resisted vigorously and forced the attacker to flee. The Aargau cantonal police immediately launched a search operation, which has so far been unsuccessful.
The wanted man is described as follows: male, aged 20 to 30 years, approximately 170 to 190 cm tall, short blonde hair, no beard, black hooded jumper. He is believed to have been travelling on a moped.
