Four youths arrested in Schlieren ZH during attempted break-in
Zurich Cantonal Police apprehended four 13- and 14-year-olds at a commercial property in Schlieren on Saturday evening. The youths were reported to the youth prosecution office.

Shortly after 17:30 on Saturday evening, the Zurich Cantonal Police operations centre received a report that several individuals had gained unauthorised access to a commercial property in Schlieren ZH. According to Blick, police officers from Zurich Cantonal Police and the municipal police forces of Regensdorf, Schlieren and Uitikon-Waldegg then immediately deployed and surrounded the building.
Officers ordered the suspected burglars to leave the building. Four youths complied with the order and were arrested without resistance, according to a statement from Zurich Cantonal Police.
The suspects are four 13- and 14-year-old youths from Afghanistan, Ukraine and India. They were taken to a police station and questioned. According to initial findings, the theft attempt was unsuccessful — they had not stolen any items.
All four are being reported to the competent youth prosecution office for attempted burglary. Zurich Cantonal Police are also investigating whether the group could be responsible for further break-ins at the same property.
