A group of individuals accosted victims at various locations in at least four cases, threatened them with a firearm and demanded cash.
Officers from Lucerne Police apprehended the suspected perpetrators following a report in the Frankenstrasse area. When the group spotted the officers, several individuals fled.
Two men were detained and arrested. According to a police statement, the arrested individuals are two Swiss nationals aged 17 and 18. They are remanded in custody.
The Lucerne State Prosecution Office and the Juvenile Prosecution Office are conducting the investigation. Police informed the public about the incidents on Wednesday.
