A 43-year-old man was arrested in Limache for the alleged homicide of a young man with no criminal record. An investigation is underway into a robbery with homicide allegedly perpetrated by a group of up to 10 people.

A 43-year-old man was arrested on Friday as the alleged perpetrator of the homicide of a 23-year-old Chilean man in Limache, Valparaíso region, according to latercera.com.
The victim, who had no police record, died from a thoracic trauma caused by a sharp penetrating weapon. This was explained by subprefect Rodrigo Gallardo, head of the Homicides Brigade in Valparaíso.
A second man, aged 36, who was accompanying the victim at the time of the attack, sustained injuries caused by a cutting weapon. Both were in a square in Villa Isla Lenox, near the ramadas, when they were approached by a group of between 7 and 10 people.
"The hypothesis is being pursued that this would possibly be a robbery with homicide, given that the alleged perpetrators would have taken certain items from the victims," Gallardo stated.
