According to radiosago.cl, the NGO Campo Seguro expressed its condolences to the family of Second Corporal Cristopher Aguilera Fernández and to the Carabineros de Chile institution following his death in Santiago, and strongly repudiated the violent incident.
The organisation, which brings together groups from the agricultural sector such as SAGO A.G., SAVAL F.G., APROVAL Leche, APROLECHE and Agrollanquihue A.G., described the loss as irreparable and expressed its solidarity with those who protect the community.
The entity stated that the death of Second Corporal Aguilera Fernández adds to those of other Carabineros officers who have fallen in the line of duty. They highlighted in particular the officers who died in the Macrozona Sur and in the regions where the NGO carries out its activities.
"In these moments of profound sorrow, we extend our embrace and solidarity to his loved ones and to the entire institution, accompanying them respectfully and honouring the memory of those who have given their lives for the security and protection of others," the organisation stated in a statement.
