According to infobae.com, drones laden with explosives attacked the police substation in the Potrerito district of Jamundí, Valle del Cauca, during the afternoon of Sunday, 20 September.
Sources from the institution confirmed that the incident left no injured persons and caused no significant damage to the infrastructure: "Drone attacks are being reported; so far no injuries or infrastructure damage have been reported."
Following the alert, the National Police activated the Defence Plan, a protocol designed to respond to assaults against installations and personnel of the public security force.
Authorities are carrying out verification checks in the area. An official report on the final assessment of the attack and possible identification of those responsible is expected to be released.
