Inhabitants of the Verbenal neighbourhood in the northern sector of the Colombian capital experienced moments of alarm on the night of Wednesday, 10 June, after hearing gunfire detonations in the vicinity of street 187 with career 18A.
After receiving alerts from neighbours, authorities arrived at the location and found two male individuals in a vegetated area. Upon checking their condition, it was established that both were no longer showing vital signs.
Lieutenant Colonel Paula Güiza confirmed the discovery of the two bodies in the wooded area of the sector.
In response to this incident, police deployed a specialist team in criminal investigation with the aim of clarifying the motives of the attack and identifying those who perpetrated it.
