"Leo" captured in Montería for drug trafficking and six criminal cases
A 37-year-old man was arrested in the Juan XXIII neighbourhood of Montería with a 48-month sentence for drug trafficking and links to six criminal cases.

Alias "Leo" detained in Montería with judicial warrant for drug trafficking
The National Police arrested a 37-year-old man, known as alias "Leo", in the Juan XXIII neighbourhood of Montería, Córdoba, according to information from policia.gov.co. The operation was the result of joint investigative work between the SIJIN, the SIPOL and the Military GAULA.
The detainee must serve a 48-month prison sentence for the offence of trafficking, manufacturing or carrying narcotics. According to information obtained through citizen reports, alias "Leo" distributed marijuana through a mobile point operation in the sector known as La L, on the left bank of Montería.
In addition to the current sentence, the man is linked to six additional criminal cases for offences including criminal conspiracy, extortion, drug trafficking, personal injury and threats.
The National Police stated that it will continue to strengthen intelligence and inter-institutional coordination efforts to identify individuals involved in drug sales and dismantle distribution networks in the various sectors of Montería.
