Two men arrested with over three kilograms of marijuana in Montería

The National Police arrested two men in flagrante delicto in the Rancho Grande neighbourhood of Montería for trafficking in narcotic substances, according to information from policia.gov.co. The detainees, aged 26 and 29, are known by the aliases "El Ñato" and "El Negro", respectively.
In the course of field operations, the authorities identified a property used as a point of sale, where drugs were distributed via a home delivery service. The location also functioned as a preparation centre: the arrested men used blenders to process and portion the substance into different commercial presentations, known as "Exóticos" and "Blond", the latter associated with different aromas.
During the operation, 3,155 grams of compressed marijuana, allegedly intended for sale in the sector, were seized.
Both men are also facing previous criminal proceedings as suspects in the crime of trafficking, manufacture or possession of narcotic substances.
The National Police stated that it will continue to strengthen criminal investigation, inspection and control activities to identify locations used for the storage, portioning and distribution of drugs in the different sectors of Montería.
