A raid by the Drug Enforcement Service in a house in Larnaca has revealed over 3 kilograms of cocaine, firearms, explosives and thousands of euros. The suspect is being questioned.

A raid on a residence in Larnaca led yesterday afternoon to the arrest of a 36-year-old man, following the discovery of a significant quantity of cocaine exceeding three kilograms. The operation was carried out by officers of the Drug Enforcement Service.
According to Politis, the substance was carefully concealed and was uncovered following systematic searches by police officers, who observed the behaviour of the accused carefully during the course of the operation.
In a search carried out both inside the house and in the 36-year-old's vehicle, authorities found and seized the following: two pistols with magazines and 19 cartridges, three hunting rifles, explosives, a precision electronic scales and 4,000 euros in cash. Two motorcycles and a vehicle without registration plates were also discovered.
The arrested man was taken to the Drug Enforcement Service offices in Larnaca, where he was subjected to a written interrogation and is now being held. The pre-trial investigation is being conducted jointly by the Drug Enforcement Service and Kofinou Police Station.
