40-year-old arrested at Larnaca airport with 25 kilogrammes of cannabis in luggage
A customs official discovered two nylon packages of cannabis weighing 25 kilogrammes in a 40-year-old man's luggage. The man was arrested at the time of his arrival in Larnaca.

Two nylon packages of cannabis with a total gross weight of 25 kilogrammes were discovered and seized at Larnaca airport in the early morning hours, according to Politis.
At approximately 3:30 a.m., a customs official stopped a 40-year-old man who had arrived from a foreign country for inspection. The intervention was made at the direction of members of the Drug Enforcement Service (ΥΚΑΝ), as part of cooperation with the Customs Authorities to identify persons importing drugs into Cyprus.
During inspection of his luggage, the authorities discovered the two packages containing the cannabis. The 40-year-old was arrested in flagrante delicto and held in custody to facilitate the investigation.
The Drug Enforcement Service is continuing its examination of the case.
