A parked car in Paphos came under gunfire in an area where a 72-year-old resident lives. The incident occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
According to information released by police, the vehicle was parked outside the elderly owner's home when individuals who have not yet been identified opened fire on it. The owner was not injured.
From the scene of the incident, police officers collected evidence that will be evaluated as part of the investigation. The area was cordoned off by authorities, whilst additional scientific examinations are scheduled for first light, with the aim of clarifying the circumstances under which the attack took place.
An investigation by Paphos Crime Detection Department is ongoing.
