Police arrested a 33-year-old man yesterday at Larnaca airport who was subject to an outstanding warrant issued by United States authorities for financial crimes.

A 33-year-old man was identified and detained yesterday afternoon at Larnaca airport, as an international warrant had been issued against him by the United States relating to offences of a financial nature.
The arrested man is expected to be brought before the District Court of Limassol today, in order to commence proceedings for his extradition to United States authorities. Investigations are ongoing.
