Former StB officer charged with persecution of actor Tomáš Töpfer
A state prosecutor has filed charges against a former communist-era StB officer for persecuting actor Töpfer in the 1970s and 1980s.
Charges filed for persecution of actor: former StB officer before court
A state prosecutor has filed charges against a former member of the communist State Security (StB) who allegedly persecuted actor Tomáš Töpfer in the 1970s and 1980s. The City State Prosecutor's Office spokesperson Aleš Cimbala announced this.
In the cases of two other former StB officers, the state prosecutor proposed to the court approval of plea agreements, as Cimbala stated on Wednesday.
According to iDNES.cz, this is one of the cases in which the justice system is investigating criminal activities of the former secret police against specific individuals from the normalisation period.
