Main proceedings in the Dozimetr case continued at the district court for Prague 9 on Monday. Oldřích Schneider, one of the leaders of the trade union at the Prague Public Transport Company (DPP), was summoned as a witness. He had already commented on the matter in the media when the case came to light in 2022.

Schneider came into wider public awareness in 2011 when employees of the DPP organised a strike. His testimony in court could bring new information about the background of the corruption case, which concerns suspicious contracts and management practices within the transport company.

The Dozimetr case is among the most significant corruption cases at the Prague transport company in recent years. The investigation revealed suspicious connections and business practices that were said to have damaged the interests of the municipal company.
