A quarrel broke out between four people at a wooden shelter near a forest path leading to Pomezí nad Ohří on Saturday 6 June after 3 p.m. What began as a verbal dispute escalated into a situation in which one of the participants began to be threatened. This concerned a young girl whom police in Cheb are now unable to locate, despite her statement being crucial to unravelling the entire matter.

Jakub Kopřiva, spokesman for the regional police, appealed to the public for cooperation. According to a brief description released by investigators, they are searching for a slim eighteen-year-old girl measuring around 170 centimetres. On the day everything happened, she was wearing long denim shorts, a grey t-shirt and a cap.

"Any testimony from this person could significantly assist in clarifying the circumstances," said Kopřiva.

The person in question can report herself via the line 158. Information can also be provided by other people who were in the vicinity of the former Myslivna at the time in question. Any police station in the republic can also be contacted.

In connection with the case, criminal proceedings have been initiated on suspicion of dangerous threats.
