At the time of the accident, he had nearly three times the legal alcohol limit in his blood. There were also passengers on the bus at that moment.

Police charged the man in summary proceedings. The case is now being heard by the District Court in Přerov. For the offence of endangering while under the influence of a narcotic substance, he faces a custodial sentence of between six months and three years, a fine or a ban from operating vehicles.
