At Letovice water reservoir in the Blanensko region, an evening of fishing for two schoolboys turned into a dramatic confrontation. A drunk man accused them of poaching, subsequently broke their fishing rods, threatened them and pointed a gas pistol at them. When the boys drove away, the man fired.
Police officers who arrived at the scene measured the man's breath and found over three per mille of alcohol. They confiscated the weapon. The case is being investigated as disorderly conduct and dangerous threats. If convicted, the man faces up to three years in prison.
