The Czech police, through the portal policie.gov.cz, have appealed to the public for assistance in searching for thirty-eight-year-old Jana Šerjeníková, born in 1988, permanently resident in Frýdek-Místek.
The woman disappeared on Thursday 3 September 2026, when she left her home in the morning. She did not arrive at her workplace in Ostrava that day. Since then she has not returned home or made contact with her family. According to information gathered, she does not have a mobile phone with her. Police officers do not rule out that she may be in danger to her life or health.
Officers have checked places where the woman usually spent time, including healthcare facilities, shopping centres and parks. All investigations were fruitless. She most frequently spent time in Frýdek-Místek and Ostrava.
The exact clothing from the time of her departure is not entirely known; the woman usually wore skirts.
Description of the missing person: apparent age 38–43 years, height approximately 165–175 cm, medium build, straight brown hair, green eyes.
Any information about the woman's whereabouts should be reported to the nearest police station or to the emergency line 158.
