Central Bohemian police are appealing to the public for additional possible victims of a 62-year-old man accused of rape and sexual abuse to come forward.

Central Bohemian police are appealing to the public in connection with a case involving a 62-year-old man from the Central Bohemian Region who faces charges of rape and sexual abuse, according to pribramsky.denik.cz. Investigators believe the number of victims may be significantly higher than currently recorded.
The case has been under investigation since 2024. In November 2025, police submitted a proposal for charges to the Regional State Prosecutor's Office in Prague, and the state prosecutor formally charged the man in January of this year.
According to police, the accused operated in the Jesenice near Prague locality, where he allegedly abused his professional position and the trust of underage boys within his medical practice. The alleged criminal conduct was said to have occurred directly whilst carrying out his profession.
Following media coverage of the case, additional individuals have come forward to police, claiming they were victims of the same man. Police do not rule out the possibility that among the victims are people now adults who have not yet brought themselves to report the matter.
"For the further life of victims harmed in this way, it is certainly important not to suppress the trauma they have experienced," said Vlasta Suchánková, spokesperson for the Czech Police. Police officers guarantee all those who come forward a maximally sensitive approach, absolute discretion and professional conduct.
The investigators' aim is to examine all newly reported cases and, where appropriate, include them in the ongoing criminal proceedings.
