South Moravian law enforcement searched for a minor who left his residence at night, and are also investigating a physical assault behind the wheel on road I/50.

South Moravian law enforcement had their hands full in early June. The parents of a thirteen-year-old boy contacted them with concerns that their son had disappeared from the flat during the night. The youth had shown interest in wilderness survival skills, which raised fears that he might be moving about in one of the surrounding forests.
A helicopter and a four-legged service dog were deployed, which ultimately located the missing person. The entire operation concluded without injury, confirmed police spokesperson Pavel Šváb.
In another case, Slavkov criminal investigators are examining a conflict between two motorists on road I/50 in the direction of Brno. A physical altercation allegedly took place on Tuesday, 26 May, around 8 o'clock in the morning near petrol pumps on the town bypass. The incident was sparked by a gesture from the truck driver, who gave way to another vehicle. Investigators are asking any potential witnesses to contact the emergency line 158.
