Prague Police Seeking Additional Victims of Man Who Exposed Himself to Children and Adults
A 28-year-old man ran naked through Modřany, climbed over a nursery school fence and exposed himself in front of a woman and children. Police detained him and charged him with disorderly conduct, while simultaneously requesting the public's assistance in identifying further victims.
Prague Police Seeking Additional Victims of Man Who Exposed Himself to Children and Adults
Prague detectives are requesting public cooperation in searching for additional persons who became victims of a 28-year-old man suspected of repeated exposure. Police officers detained the perpetrator on Monday, 29 June, and subsequently charged him with disorderly conduct. They recommended to the state prosecutor that the court remand the man in custody. The man previously received a suspended sentence for a similar criminal offence.
The incident took place in Prague's Modřany. First, the suspect ran completely naked along Angelov Street. He then crossed a fence and entered a nursery school premises. Subsequently, he dressed and ran towards the embankment of the Dolní retention dam, where he exposed himself in front of a woman. Later, in the public rest area VOSA on Daškova Street, he exposed himself in front of a 13-year-old and an 11-year-old child.
Police officers traced and detained the man on the same day. Investigators believe that this perpetrator is responsible for several similar cases in Prague and its surroundings. Some victims have not yet reported the criminal offence.
