Prague police search for additional victims of indecent exposure suspect who ran naked around Modřany and entered nursery school
On Monday, 29 June, a 28-year-old man ran completely naked through a street in Prague's Modřany district, climbed a fence into the grounds of a nursery school, and later exposed himself in front of a woman and children. Police detained the man the same day and charged him with disorderly conduct. Detectives believe there may have been more similar incidents and are asking any further potential victims to come forward.
The incidents took place in Prague's Modřany district. The man first ran about naked on Angelovova Street. He subsequently climbed over the fence of a local nursery school, where he moved about naked in its grounds. He then got dressed and ran to the Dolní retention pond dam, where he exposed himself in front of one woman. In the VOSA public recreation area on Dašková Street, he exposed himself to a 13-year-old and an 11-year-old child.
Police officers managed to track down and detain the perpetrator on the day of the incident. During the investigation, it emerged that the man had previously been convicted of a similar criminal offence. Detectives therefore assume that there may have been further similar incidents in Prague and the surrounding area which have not yet been reported.
"The detectives investigating the case believe that this man is responsible for more similar incidents in Prague and the surrounding area, and some of the victims have not yet reported it," police said in a statement. People who have had a similar experience with him can call the emergency line 158.
The public prosecutor proposed that the court send the man into custody.
