A twenty-eight-year-old man ran naked through Prague's Modřany district, climbed over a nursery-school fence and exposed himself to a woman and children. Police detained him and charged him with disorderly conduct.
Prague police search for victims of man exposing himself to children
Prague police officers detained a twenty-eight-year-old man who moved naked through the streets of Prague's Modřany district on Monday, 29 June and subsequently exposed himself to several people, including small children. Criminal investigators are now searching for additional possible victims of his behaviour.
The man first ran along Angelovova Street completely naked. He then climbed over the fence into the grounds of a nursery school. Subsequently he got dressed and ran to the dam of the Dolní retention reservoir, where he exposed himself to a woman. Later in the public recreational area VOSA on Daškova Street he behaved in the same way in front of a thirteen-year-old and an eleven-year-old child.
A police patrol located and detained the man on the same day. Criminal investigators charged him with disorderly conduct and proposed his remand in custody. A court hearing on this proposal will take place within the next few hours.
Investigators believe that the perpetrator may be responsible for more similar incidents in Prague and the surrounding area. According to police, some victims have not yet reported the crime. People who have had a similar experience with the man can call line 158.
