Prague detectives have launched criminal proceedings against a twenty-eight-year-old man who indecently exposed himself publicly on several occasions in June. The case is being handled by the indecent conduct division of the fourth police district. Investigators have charged the man with disorderly conduct and recommended to the court that he be remanded in custody.
The individual is not an unknown face to criminal investigators in this area — he was previously convicted and sentenced for a similar offence. Detectives believe there may be substantially more victims than have so far emerged from the ongoing investigation.
On Monday, 29 June, the man first appeared completely naked on Angelov Street in the fourth city district. From there, he climbed over a fence into the grounds of a nursery school. After a short while, he got dressed and made his way to the dam of the Dolní retention reservoir, where he undressed in front of a woman.
He concluded his journey at the VOSA rest area on Daškova Street in the twelfth Prague district. There, he exposed himself naked in front of a thirteen-year-old and an eleven-year-old child. Officers from a patrol that arrived found and apprehended the man.
