A 33-year-old man in Brno refused to stop at police officers' command, fled aggressively, and collided with several vehicles during a reckless drive. A drug breath test came back positive.

Yesterday morning after 8 o'clock, law enforcement officers from the Brno-North District Station conducted a routine check on Merhautova Street. However, one of the vehicles refused to comply with the stop and its driver began fleeing recklessly.
He first collided with a car on Elgartova Street, but continued driving. Through the streets of the Husovice district he sped on until he crashed into two other vehicles at the intersection of Merhautova and Jugoslávská Streets. Only then was he detained by the patrol unit with the assistance of coercive means.
A drug test on the 33-year-old man confirmed the presence of narcotics. He was taken into custody at the police station. One of the collision participants sustained minor injuries. Investigators are continuing to examine the incident.
