Police in Brno engaged in the pursuit of a motor vehicle on Sunday afternoon, whose driver did not comply with a request to stop. The man behind the wheel attempted to flee from police. After a brief chase, the patrol managed to stop the vehicle and apprehend the driver.
During the subsequent check, police conducted a test on the man for the presence of narcotic and psychotropic substances. The result was positive. The case is being further investigated by police, who have charged the driver with several offences and criminal acts related to driving under the influence of addictive substances and obstruction of the performance of an official decision.
